Ok so I've got everything worked out in my program but I'm trying to protect my program from unacceptable values. Here's the statement: printf("What is the amount of water? "); scanf("%lf", &volWater); if (volWater <=0 && volWater > 1000000) printf("Input error. Value is either negative, equal to zero, or over an acceptable input value. \n"); return 0; It seems to be correct since it compiles and runs, when I input a value which fits the conditions in the if (like 100000000000 or -2) the program goes on to the next block of code like it ignores it. Why doesn't my error message come up? Any help appreciated.
